Coming back after the debut album for the USA based Sliptrick Records “Fast in elegance”, Tanzan Music is proud to introduce “Mechanical sunshine”, the second full length release by HOUSTON!, a young and promising band from Piacenza, Italy.
After 2 European tours which highly increased the attention around the band due to the amazing impact of its performances, HOUSTON! are back in action with this new release, to underline that the fun is just beginning!
“Mechanical sunshine”, with its stylistic undertones, is a stepping stone in the history of the band, both a confirmation of what they developed in the past and what they can become in the near future. The powerful sound of songs like “Planet terror” and “Let me shout” perfectly blend with modern ballad tunes like “One day”, truly demonstrating the technical and artistic skills of the band in merging different styles to create a unique and absolute personal sound.
If we try to define their music we can call it sleaze, electronic gothic, glam, hard rock and much more! An innovative blend that points to the young generation without disappointing the more traditional listeners.
The album was recorded and mixed at Elfo Studio (Piacenza – Italy) whilst the mastering was done by Mika Jussila, Senior Engeneer at the renowned Finnvox Studios in Helsinki (Finland).
HOUSTON! will be touring across Europe in summer/fall 2011.
